There were a couple of challenges that presented themselves on this project. Ram Construction Services installed self-adhered and fluid-applied air & vapor barrier to the exterior walls and canopies. All of our work was contracted through a local interior finishing contractor, The Sobie Company. The first obstacle we ran into was the job site was very compact, which is a concern when using fluid-applied materials. Controlling the overspray of material was crucial and was monitored at all times. There were also some intricate details at the transitions from our material to the roofing material that required special monitoring. We had to work through some difficult details with the general contractor to ensure that the building was sealed properly. In the end, being proactive and working as a team was the key to making this a successful project.
