Cleveland-based KeyCorp is one of the nation’s largest bank-based financial services companies. Key Companies provide investment management, retail and commercial banking, consumer finance, and investment banking products and services to individuals and companies throughout the United States and, for certain businesses internationally. The Key Bank Headquarters building, located on Tiedeman Road, was constructed in 1995. This was the first renovation completed since construction.
RAM Construction Services was contracted to remove and replace nearly 25,000 lineal feet of sealant on the exterior panels, 21,000 square feet of façade cleaning, and special protection over the anodized aluminum at the windows. Additional work was added to the scope to include sealing of the masonry facade, brick repair and brick replacement. One of the biggest challenges our team had to overcome on the project was working within the painter’s schedule due to their product application to the exterior panels. Our scope of work also involved RAM Construction Services to lead the painters with our sealant removal and then follow behind to install the new material. A great deal of coordination and scheduling was needed for this project to be completed on time.
