Ziegler Park, named after Cincinnati’s first mayor David Ziegler, is getting a long overdue $30 million facelift. The existing 1.41 acre park is being completely renovated to create a new 400 space below ground parking garage with a green roof to provide usable green lawn space for family fun. There will also be a new pool, playground and basketball courts. The park’s renovation is a welcome addition to the continued revitalization of the Over-the-Rhine community.
RAM Construction Services’s scope of work consists of 18000 square feet of blindside waterproofing on the foundation walls and 68000 square feet of hot applied waterproofing on the green roof. RAM Construction Services also installed caulk and expansion joints on the garage. Coordinating the work was a challenge since the jobsite had limited space and access for all trades to perform their scopes of work.
